If Lemm and Lass had a baby it wouldn't be able to accommodate the patching demands of this game.

Ah ha. Should have seen this coming.

Cobalt, old friend. I think your project needs a different direction.
Currently, your trying to bend Keen into Sonic. The Sonic games themselves are moddable, some of them. Instead of making Keen into Sonic, you should try making Sonic into Keen. Change Sonic. Write it into the story/plot. For example, if I were you, this is what I would do:

First, I would put Sonic in diapers. The game would take place when Sonic is just a baby. Or maybe it's Sonic son, Sonic Jr. Being a small lil' tike, Sonic Jr. is too young and too small to run up loop de loops, run at high speeds, or transform.

Or you could be like Bernie and make Sonic really old, too feeble to do all those fancy sonic things. That way you can eliminate the need for these patches and create a very new take on the Sonic world.

All I'm saying is, if this is going to be a Keen mod, make Sonic play more like Keen and less like Sonic.

I don't think much will be made until the mod is significantly completed. I've already wasted time on eight abandoned projects so I like to see evidence that things will actually be used before I make them.

I'll just learn hex editing and make the not-so-complicated-to-make patches myself, then.

edit: I will never abandon the sonic mod! Mark my words., witnessing its awesomeness will make your brains implode!

Don't count the shot-teleporting one abandoned! Awesome things involving an awesome singer are going on...

If I had counted it abandoned I never would have made the patch.
