CKPatch has built in commands for level names and entrance texts:

%level.name [insert level number] [insert the name here] 
%level.entrance [insert level number] [insert the entrance text here]
You may have to fool around with new lines (add a $0A at the desired break point) if your message is too long for one line. And for added easiness, you could use The Neural Stunner, which also handles the scrolling story text.

And of course there's Startext, which is named after this very patch, the first one it was made to handle. So it goes.
