Old or new CKPatch?

Post by KeenRush »

Is there anything so big difference between the old and the new, so should I start using the newer instead of older?
Also, could using the newer one affect anyhow on the "Unload your TSRs!" thing?

For the most part, you won't see much difference. However, the new ones fix some bugs, and are more robust. I don't think they use any more memory.
FWIW, I'm only using the new ones now, and making sure my patches work with it.

Ok, maybe I'll switch to it - to make sure everything works correctly. :) Cheers.

CKxPATCH 0.9.0 (the new one)'s got a couple of new commands (like level.file) and does "transparent LZEXE decompression" I believe it was. Which is real handy.

Woah, apostrophe-s after parentheses!! Still too early ... Y-A-W-N ...
