Will there be a Keen 4-6 ModKeen?
i prolly wouldn't use it... but everyone else would! lol

I've thought of it, but I probably will never make it. The main reason for this is (a) modding Keens 1-3 still has plenty of scope, and (b) I've got other plans for Keen 4-6 (top secret right now...)

...TED5 is already a brilliant editor. I would kill for a Keen 1-3 editor like TED...

it's PROBABLY possible to use TED to edit CK1-3...
and as for CK4-6, just coz TED is good doesn't mean there can't be something bettter
..

TED5 works. Sometimes. If you aren't running XP, that is. But that's about it.

the only things i can think of that are that good about ted is that it's quite advanced, and it's able to edit billions of different garging games
edit: oh, and it's the only ck4-6 editor available at this time

I've thought about that question too..
Oh, and I think it would be great to have something editor planned just for Keen 4-6; something better than TED.
Also, can't wait to see what you're working on, adurdin. :) Let me guess: rewriting the source code for those games? :)

There is be a Keen4-6 modkeen.
It's called Igrab and it's made by ID.
But it can't export the images, only import.
Any help with an exporter would be great (glances at Andrew)
..

Well, despite what I said in this topic, I decided that I wanted to have something ready for 3/14; and as I had just got my Huffman compression routines giving me bit-for-bit equivalent compression with what Keen 4, 5, and 6 produce, "I figured, what the hell".

By the way, are you quoting Doc Brown from Back to the Future adurdin? Just thought because Doc said that too and I'm big fan of the series and so on.. :D
