I actually uploaded version 2.2 yesterday - but my internet died before I could post on here.

I fixed a bug, and converted the docs to html - they look really fancy (?) now.

Get it.

: )

what was the error you fixed in 2.2?

(small bug: it still says readme.txt inside the program)

In version 2.1, I said that for foreground tiles you could now give the tile coords for the masked part, but you actually couldn't. That's fixed in v2.2.

I'll get on that. ;-)

Also, BIG NEWS for version 2.3 - I finally have got tile selection by clicking on a .bmp of the tiles working!! I'll clean some stuff up a bit and hopefully make a new release tomorrow.

OK, if you continue at this rythm, we'll have version 1024.3 soon :P

Very nice feature you added! Now my dream of making a Keen 4/5 mod is even closer to become real! Keep the good work and we'll (hopefully) have full-featured Keen4/5/6 mods soon!

BTW, the filename Ck456Tli(v2.3).zip could be changed to "ck456tli-v2.3.zip" in my opinion. Just a little comment.

EDIT 06/01/2007:
DISCLAIMER:

I'm not responsible, directly or indirectly, for CK Guy's incredible development speed and relelases-per-week record

I don't know; I like it.

*If* he keeps this up we'll have a damn near perfect version quick sharp!

Ooh, this is really nice.

It's too bad that I'm a total klutz editing tiles.

EDIT: How do I patch my changes into the game? In your readme, it says to use %patch $25B22 (for Keen 5), but that doesn't work. What do I have to add to that?
EDIT2:It says "missing expected parameter". What would that parameter be?

Version 2.4 is up!

Among other things, it fixes the documentation problem OmniKeen just noticed. The correct CKPatch command is

%patchfile $25B22 (filename.tli)

for Keen 5.

Seriously, you're beating the releases-per-week record.

If you continue doing this, I'll think seriously about releasing "Lost in the Shadows" for Keen 1 as a pre-port version, and then release "Lost in the Shadows Atomic Edition" for Keen 4.

Ah, and if you continue with this excellent work, this will be a nice year for Keening. :p

EDIT: Just kidding. I think I won't work on a Keen 4 mod until I have enough experience with Keen 1-3 and there are enough K4 patches. However...

Aw, thanks guys.

Anyway (surprise!) version 2.5 is up!

Fixed a bug - added some features (just small ones).

The main things is that the "are you sure you want to do that? you have changed the file and didn't save it!" thing is nicer.

The source is commented a little better - and the html file now wraps! (i am now using <tt> instead of <pre>).

You should have each version go up by less. Then it won't seem as fast.
Like, instead of going from 2.4 to 2.5, go from 2.4.1 to 2.4.2.
(Mostly a joke. But you are coming out with new versions *very* fast!)

Well, after version 2.9 if you don't want the next release to be 3.0 you could just make it 2.91 or 2.92 :)
