Tedsetup extracts data from the uncompressed keen 4, 5 and 6 exe files it then determines the version of the episode you are using, extracts data from the keen exe file and creates other files required by ted51 so that you can load the graphics and edit the levels.
To use tedsetup you must decompress the exe file using unlzexe or unp. and the following files are either extracted or created by tedsetup.

maptemp
gfxinfoe
It depends on which version of the Keen games you have if you end up with icons you can use such as graphics representing sprites.
