Press the [z] key to undo and the [y] key to redo.

If you right-click on an empty space while you have the foreground and/or info planes active, you'll grab a $0000 tile which you can then place over any other tiles to 'delete' them - note that they're not being deleted so much as just overwritten by the empty tile.

I'll be sure to add these confusing things to the help file soon - thanks for letting me know.

Thanks! This will help.

Still got a few questions...

1. How or what do i have to do to make different enemies and darts (from dart guns) appear on different difficulty levels?

2. How do I link level sprites on the map to their respective level map?

3. What are the numbers next to the enemy sprites?
Thanks,
Tom

The numbers next to the enemy sprites are the difficulty level above which the sprite will appear.

If a sprite has a 1, it will appear on easy, medium and hard.
If a sprite has a 2, it will appear on medium and hard.
If a sprite has a 3, it will appear on hard.

For the infoplane values, level entrances are $C0XX, blocking tiles are $D0XX, and level flags are $F0XX (I think that's right), where XX is the level number.

Take a look at the info plane of the unmodified world map for an example.

Basically paraphrasing lemm...

Place a sprite on the map with the value C0?? where ?? is the level number in hex. D0?? is a blocking thing removed when the level is complete. F0?? is a spot that a flag appears when the level is done.

These are infoplane values, you can't select them from the sprite menu. Press enter to bring up a box called "Infoplane" which has four digits in it. Change these digits to the numbers or letters you want to use, and hit ok. You can now place these in the game in the sprite layer.

Oh balderdash. I remember something like this years ago. This version of TOM is packed with a .chm file that states it's the 1.0 version, with the editor itself thinks it is version 0.8. I'm not sure what to make of it. I know that sometimes version numbers are accidentally not updated. So confusing!
