I managed to stabilize to 50,000 points for both enemies as it's my ultimate decision in point case, but there's a problem yet: I still get 2 extra lives after beating the Trooper and 1 extra life after beating the king.
But I don't want them to give me any extra lives.

This is because you get Extra Keens, 1 at 20'000 points and one at 40'000 points. If you play with a higher score you will not get the extra lives.


Also, I CAN make the Trooper not give any points when destroyed if you wish.

Well, my request is that the Trooper gives 50,000 points and the King gives 50,000 points (I stabilized it to 50K already in the patch you tweaked as I said in my previous post), but WITHOUT giving extra life/lives. Is it possible? Because this will and would be very important for me.

But if it's not possible, no points for beating the Tater Trooper will be good too as an alternative solution (but King Boobus must still give me 100,000 points, keep in mind).

As I said, did you try the patch with a higher score? The two lives you get should only happen when you beat him starting with a score near zero.

If you want extra keens disabled then this will do it:

Again, this is because of the GAME, not the patch. It is something that happens when you have a very low score and kill the big boss. If your score is over around 16'000 then killing these guys should give no extra lives. You do this at the END of a game, not the beginning.

I checked it and it really gives extra life after beating the King. Sorry, I just don't really know Keen Dreams well.

Yes, but what was your score before and after?

The score there is high enough that killing both bosses shouldn't give you any more extra lives. When I try it on my setup nothing happens. If it's giving you lives here then there must be a problem with some other patch in your patchfile.

Did you try my savegame file? The minimum score you need isn't 16'000 but more like 160'000.

With that buggy frame, is it ALWAYS buggy or only sometimes? How big is the image, in pixels?

As far as I checked, I left a Tater Trooper in level 9, that caused the buggy sprite.


Anyway, everything works perfect. But there's 1 issue only:
I still receive +1 free life after beating the king. But not always. Is it also due to the higher score I got? (I had 500,000-600,000 points after beating the Tater Trooper and the king totally).
