I want the following Keen 5 patches:
When Keen starts reading, it makes sound effect (its sound effect would be the same as the Shockshund's shooting sound)
Moreover, when Keen's reading, he can't be killed by any harmful enemies, so while reading he is invulnerable (only during reading).
Keen 5 - "reading"

Not sure whether it applies on this forum but most require at least one post, just as an anti-spam measure. So the bots probably post once or twice assuming that's enough, without actually bothering to check if there's a limit or what the limit is. I've seen some forums where you can't post a link until you've been a member for a month after your first post, so that could explain why the bot went silent. I guess it'll show up again eventually, if nobody has reported it.
Setting those limits might not stop spam completely but it sure does slow it down. Although nothing has been quite so successful for the KeenWiki as requiring a "biography" for new accounts. Spam accounts typically contain random text or comments like "this is a great blog" while legitimate ones actually mention Commander Keen in some form or another. It does mean one of the admins has to go and review each account but so far it's been 100% successful at blocking spam!
