Keen 2 level competiton

Post by levellass »

See thread for details, we need more people; only three levels have been submitted; a very disappointing tally.

I am not releasing any mods, patches or updating the patch index until we get 16, even if it takes years dammit!

Phew! Good to hear; nagging your friends can only get you so far, and it would be a pity if I had to resort to nonforum keeners for levels!

It's funny you posted this competition now. I was thinking about starting my own competion, complete with a whole list of rules and everything :). I have a college visit, HW :(, and a couple of other Keen projects ;). I'll see what I can do, but no promises.

It figures, blasted life, ruining keening.

Tell you what, you can set up the Keen 3 level competition!

You can do that one. I want to do a "redesign Keen1 without changing certain things so you have to be creative" competition. Although Keen1 itself may be a little big.

Well, it's done; 12 levels of Keen 2 goodness!

http://levellord.toxicsheep.com/Keenstu ... elpack.zip

Enjoy, and don't forget to vote for your favourate level; they are numbered thusly; a gold block by the level is +4, a red block +1 categories are:

1.) Most Keenish; the level that best capturs that feeling of playing Keen 2 all over again for the first time.

2.) Elite: That level that's so damn hard, huge or complex you just wanna smack your head against the screen and burst into tears.

3.) Scrubbed; that level that was the most fun or easiest to get through. We're talking putting on cruise control, turning up the radio and enjoying here.

Any idea, who joined the competition? Which level was made by whom?
