Graphic sizes?

What's the maximum size for a sprite in Keen 1-3?

56 pixels wide by unlimited high, although if they are too tall the game will not them if they are at the top/bottom edges of the screen.

you might also want to consider that some computer set-ups (especially for some people trying to play on windows 98 like i do) have memory issues and cannot tolerate big sprites even if the game can. i remember i couldn't play bazooka wowbagger for ages until i had scoured the literature for dos memory tricks.
