Yass, thanks both. I was sure it was considerably larger than Lass's estimation, because I've played levels that've been larger than 100x100 and they've been fine. I'll be staying under 0x4000 tiles but it's good to know.

K1-3 maximum level size

I tried searching for this info but couldn't find it. I remember, back in whatever year, Spleen had a sensible theory or perhaps even valid info about it. If I remember correctly it was some constant that the width * height * planes * wordsize couldn't exceed. If anyone knows, let me know.

That K4 level was made by ChargingMoose (or something like that) and it was made in a hex editor. I don't have the level any longer, sadly.

By the way, 10 years, congratulations K:M. Seems amazing.

Just tried this a couple of days ago and have to say that this shows great promise whether there'll be more to follow or not. I agree that the level work is great. You have a distinctive style. The graphics so far are nice as well and it was funny collecting bottles of Jack Daniels.

Man, this is a great idea for altering gameplay! I wish I had thought of it. :D Luckily easy to implement as well.
