hmm...
I get a "placed an un-cached sprite" about a second after entering the level. Could it be the lack of bubble sprites?

xtraverse, heh, I completely overlooked the ^B tag; I used a plain red image to hide the pictures. As for the text, if you print the text twice (same color and place), it'll disappear--no flickering. Birdman demo will remain just that--a demo. Unless someone can tell me how to get swimming keen in a...

Birdman Demo
Here's a little bit of a Mod-sort-of-thing made in Keen 4.
http://cosmicoding.com/Keendom/
It's on the front page...
It's mainly a bunch of tile and sprite remakes as well as some strange things done for the end-game sequence.
Thanks Andrew for modkeen 2!

Initial Council Member Count (SotO)
So, is there a way to set the starting rescued council member count to something other than 0 when you start a new game? Or perhaps, change the number of council members you must rescue?

You mean in the third section of the sprite bitmap? Currently the clipping section of the bitmaps doesn't work. At least AFAIK. You must edit the coordinates in the text file. I've made a program that I threw together. IMO it makes it much easier to edit the clipping and origin--via a dragable clipp...

um
version 2? Is that the final release? (you'll post a link here when ver. 2 is done?)
Oh, and to get fire spinners to disappear, all fire spinner icons in TED MUST be pointing in the exact same direction. If even 1 is pointed differently the trick won't work.

oh my...!
That is just excellent, Andrew!
Question: I've got the clock emulation speed maxed out, keen runs as smooth as on my old 486, but block (mem) allocation when I start ted, and carmackizing still takes forever. I didn't notice any setting for hdd access times in the conf. Any suggestions?

For what OS?
Levellord, what operating system normally runs on your C: drive? Also, what operating system are you trying to boot via a floppy bootdisk?

TED editing dilemma
I've got somewhat of a problem. Shortly after releasing Keen Asylum, the only harddrive that had the editing files (MAPTHEAD.CK5, etc.) crashed. Since then we've wanted to make some modifications to Keen Asylum, but are unable to open them in TED5. When we released our first level "Robo Pantry&...
