What's up with you guys complaining about TED5 in Windows XP

I'm using TED5 in XP with DosBox... the carmacizing is almost as slow as it is on my old 75mhz 486 system, and the graphics are off-colour if you use the video mode that displays more of the level at a time(usually you press F9 when you enter TED5 to change to this mode), but apart from that, it wor...

Weird Error in Ted5/Tedsetup

If you use ModKeen2 to import new graphics into EGAGRAPH.ck4 (haven't tried with CK5 or CK6), then run Tedsetup, and use TED5, the graphics are really screwed up. it works fine if you use TedSetup before modkeen, however.

AFAIK, you cannot embed icons in a DOS program (example: Keen) or in a program that has already been compiled
If you have the right tools, you can in a program that has already been complied. You can't in a DOS program as far as I'm aware though.

Yes actually, the islands and lakes will work - but the islands will end up either not very good graphics, too big, or be identical to one of the original three islands... a perfect example of why we need CK 4-6 modkeen!

i think what would happen with in-water levels is that although they could be entered fine, keen would probably revert back to Walking Keen after beating the level or "Exiting To Shadowlands"

me's idea on that subject is that he wants to be as far away from the enemy as possible, to, as that previous guy said, perform a stealth attack

As for in Keen 1, don't forget he was just on a fun trip!
