I don't think that really answers your question. Nevertheless, if you work with the source code, this is feasible in any case.
I have to agree with you that this cinematic feature is really impressive. One reason also why I included this effect in my mod

I second Quillax' thoughts. Mods must be substantial in one way or another. It doesn't make sense to collect have baked modding attempts that eventually got abandoned by their authors. Else the wiki will get flooded with unfinished and pre-alpha state stuff quickly. Work in progress mods (and I also...

Yeah, a lot of things sound easy until you realize how difficult it actually is to construe and understand a wall off hex-code. especially with a brain like mine which won't stay focus on tasks like this... this is a released mod. here is the most up-to-date download link: http://www.shikadi.net/wik...

so, this is just a proof of concept that it is possible to have two endings triggered by separate events. what you can see below is a patch that triggers an alternative message which gets displayed before entering a certain level. afterwards the game skips the official ending sequence and jumps rig...

nope, as far as I know KeenGrout only works with images that were extracted via modkeen.
but if you are looking for a grid solution to pixel and draw things I'd recommend using the option to display a grid in your graphics editor. Photoshop or GIMP for e.g. do come with a grid option.
