Thank you very much :) Why is that feature so totally hidden though?

Edit: The download is working fine now...

Small question: How do I manually select a tile for drawing without having to copy it from somewhere? Unfortunately, the help file does not open under Win7 :(

Edit: Seven days later...hello? Anybody home? :(

I guess the most convenient behaviour would be if the tool asked if one wishes to automatically have the patch file modified (have the necessary patches ADDED to the CURRENT ones, making this also default option), or if the user wishes to do that manually. And if the tools modifies the patch file, i...

Thanks for your replies :) I always struggle with GIMP as I find it quite counter-intuitive; yet, it is a very valuable tool if you have the right tutorials at hand. And yes, me too wonders why all these paint programs have tons of features but are incapable of preserving the palette. I mean, the pa...

Modkeen overwriting my PAT file

After importing graphics with Modkeen, it actually overwrote my patch file with %ext ck5 %version 1.4 # Load the modified graphics %egahead EGAHEAD.CK5 %end Well, I lost all my patches, why thank you Oo Did I do something wrong or is this a misbehaviour? Sprite editing tool of choice?

I know that in another well-visited thread (which I fail to dig up at the moment) the "old" MS Paint is recommended for editing CK sprites. That does work for me, still it lacks some kind of comfort. I went into the trouble trying several other sprite editors, but none of them was able to ...

Thanks for the quick response! I had a look at CK4 with CK456DTL, and the ground tiles all had properties like Top -> Bottom or Fall through if they were "in the back". That is pretty interesting meaning that Keen Galaxy is indeed as one-dimensional as Keen Vorticons :P Then again, it make...

CK5: Adding ground tile sets

Hello community, I wonder if there is a way to get additional "ground tile sets" to work in CK5. It comes with three types (red, green, yellow with black stripes), and I would prefer, let's say, five instead. CK4 has at least four ground tile types, but the mechanics of CK5 suit my needs m...

When I tried to open my original GAMEMAPS.CK4 of Version 1.4, it always said "Fatal run-time error: bad file number (-1)". Next I copied the GAMEMAPS.CK4 and MAPHEAD.CK4 which were supplied with the Omegamatic into my game folder, and the editor was now able to display the map. However, I ...
