Keen as a 12 year old is an interesting angle that hasn't been done before. So this game takes place in 1994, eh?

The music from E3M2 of Doom is awesome.

I missed one of the items in the levels, but the pyramid at the end gave me everything to fix it.

I can tell that from a bird's eye overview of the map the space doesn't make logical sense, but ingame the areas would feel seamless.

Tell me how adding new sprites in keen 1 works

Ok, the patches wiki tells you how to recreate the sprite spawning code and add/subtract from it here. But then what? How do you code your new sprites from there? Are you only allowed to make copies of existing sprites with subtle changes? That's fine by me, because that's exactly what I want to do....

So.. aww man. To do what you're asking, I'll have to extend the vertical length of the level a LOT lower to make that last cliff absolutely unclimbable, and add a little more room to the left to make a staircase back up. Maybe mindbelt won't allow that many tiles, but I'll try it. But I might still ...
