thanks anyway, but I've figured out what was wrong, and it was (mainly) user failure. But, who'd have guessed it, I have ANOTHER problem! When I import my sprites (Keen1), which look fine on mspaint, they come out wrong: for example, blue becomes red, and yellow turns lavender. Even colors which are...

Ok, now I have another problem;

"Error: Can't open font bitmap c:\games\keen\bmp\1fon0000.bmp"

In dosbox, file locations are correct. What now?

That's the error message I get when I try to open any keen4 level. Any tips? Probably just user failure, as usual.

Though I tried it in cmd, and it had even more problems. The exact dosbox message is:

error - can't open C:\games\keen\mod\egahead.ck1

Any other suggestions?

Very helpful title, I know. I had a problem with the csdpmi*b.zip file, but got it sorted ok. Now I try to use modkeen, and it comes up with an error message, which says "Error - Cannot read Egahead.ck1" or something close to that. Any suggestions? It always worked before, but then I got a...

Right, thanks. In chunks, then! I'll start graphic design soon, and I might not release the games in order because I would indeed get sick of it when I got to Tom Baker (Seven years in the role!!!)

First question, WHY do you need so many levels? This is important, as depending on what you want them to do, you may be able to do it with less or different patching. Well... Keen 1 Extra levels...

Hi!

I need to be able to have lots of levels in my new keen 1 mod. Specifically, er... 155. I don't know though, the game wouldn't be stable with so many, would it? If that is the case, I could possibly work with 29 levels, or as close to as possible. What is the maximum the game allows?

Fly without god mode.

Hi. I need a keen1 patch so that keen can fly when he uses the pogo. It is for a top secret project I am releasing on keen day. Also, can you make the patch so that keen doesn't "Bounce" off the ceiling when he pogo's across it?
