Does the "graphics" subfolder exist? I think ModId needs you to create it yourself.

There are two kinds of switches in Keen 4 and 5. One is a platform switch that affects [ B] blocks (or path arrows in Keen 5). The other is a tile switch that toggles tiles like bridges. Nice troubleshooting! In the next version, I'll have Abiathar generate your corrected EGADICT patch instead of using the %egadict command.

Ah, I misunderstood, sorry Dave. In that case, I'm not aware of a level viewer that can correctly handle front tiles. Perhaps I'll need to implement it myself, as you suggested.

Also, wow Nisaba, I had no idea you did all that. Thank you for all your work!

Hi Levellass! Indeed, I should clarify that 24 is the upper limit on levels that will act normally with regard to completion marking. (Or can some amazing patching be done to expand that too?) How many animating tiles are there exactly? I might need to tune the warning thresholds a bit.

Hmm, I looked over that image and it seems correctly rendered to me. Maybe other pictures you saw (on the wiki?) were generated by different level viewers? I'm not sure. That would make some sense, since correctly handling front foreground tiles would require reading tileinfo, which requires more so...

If you need monsters and infoplane point items to show up as the actual sprites (instead of infoplane icons), you'll need to use a specialized level viewer tool like GalaxyView , as Nisaba said. The game developers arbitrarily decided to set the "max levels" constant to 24. When the code was compiled, a bunch of important arrays became fixed at that length, even if not all their space is used. Thank you. Abiathar can handle up to 99 levels, but the game will only be able to access up to 18. This can be patched up to 24 , but that is a little tricky. Is "Map16" the name of the level? OK, I just tested with a bunch of different kinds of characters. Some non-ASCII characters get lost and converted to question marks (a minor bug), but I can't get Abiathar to crash by renaming levels. Abiathar shouldn't require any other programs installed. (It needs the .NET Framework, but if you have Abiathar running at all, you have .NET.) What did you name the new level? Which game are you editing? If you could post the contents of that log file - assuming it exists - that would be very helpf...
