Since it sounds like you'd need Mink to actually code it, I'd like to see this worked into TNS, because I love that program layout.
And concerning the patch index, I'm not entirely sure, but I think it's not maintained anymore, Llass is working to get all the patches up onto KeenWiki

I think the Vorticon being able to walk off the screen is no accident here, since there is a detailed opening in the border there. I think since this may be so you don't have to deal with the vorticon if you know how. As you don't really have to deal with any of the Vorticons in Keen 1 personally if...

GIMP is the best free program I've found so far when it comes to colour formats. It does only what you want it to do, and doesn't screw around making 8Bit graphics out of 4Bit ones. Sadly it lacks the basic features Line, Square and Circle. But I still use it for most of my pixel work Beside that I ...

In level 2 i think the 5000 point item can't be seen from anywhere, you can't know it exists, some leafs, or clouds shaped into an arrow indicating it might be a good idea to drop down there should be added. Level3: I'm curious how those fruit traps work, if they're tile-based they can only be killi...

Aye, G314 pretty much sums it up, and I completely agree with the cosmo feel. It's overall a very nice first level, I would remove the Tomatodon at the exit though, because it feels relatively unfair: you don't have to fear anything the whole level, and when you reach the exit you get killed unexpec...

Overall I relatively disagree with the keen4 enemy criticism of MrBlack, but with view to another keen game: Keen 6. Each Keen 4 enemy is unique in behaviour, while most Keen 6 enemies are of the simple walk around on platforms type. (and this is probably the reason why I found the enemy cast so dul...

lol, mindbelt mapmode. This is a nice level altogether, although it breaks 1 of Ceilick's ten commandments: Thou shalt not put doors in the first level. I kinda like the lower ceiling on the right, as I find unevenness pleasing in leveldesign, but I can see Ceilicks point when you look at it as zoom...
