Alright, so the problem here is how the Oracle Member's music works. It plays the same song as a LEVEL and this is set to -1 in the game which basically sets it to 'the last song file we have'. You may find that the High Scores, which also uses this value, is likewise messed up AND talking to Prince...

Strange, it works in my plain mod, I may have to check your whole mod folder to see what is wrong. I'll upload my working mod to Dropbox.

I think it might have something to do with the -DEMO string.

If it helps I can link you to a game that is set up for mapping, using Abithar (That I think is the best mapper.) This can be used as a 'base' so you don't have to go to all the trouble of setting up all the programs. Then we can just work here on making a basic level, I can add pictures of the prog...

I'm not so sure on the German part (Does anyone know where Shikadi-Netzwerk hangs out?) but I can at least try with a from-the-basics guide. (And can at least understand German.) People here will be all too happy to help too.

There has been a prolonged family emergency. It is mostly over now. This patch should do what you want, Keen checks his computerwrist when on the ground and esc is pressed. (Pressing esc off the ground or on the map just opens the menu.) This is not the complete patch, I had to change your patchfile...

WARNING: If the bird can make broken eggshell bits that stay like that then it will add more and more sprite mess to the level until the game crashes. There must either be a limit on how many broken eggs it makes or the broken eggs must vanish somehow.

It's possible but you quickly run into problems. I'm doing a 32 level mod for example but the names and entrance texts have to be quite short to fit in the usual space. If you want something to make patches for such a mod you'd need a custom program and maybe a few more patches to make space.

AAAh.

So this is more like playing a game of pool yes? Looking from above? That's going to be interesting to try and do. I have a basic ball setup for gravity and will have to try and adapt it.

For you perhaps. Patching has always been easiest for me. What happens when Keenball is sitting on the ground, and the player tries to make it move downwards? Does it bounce up?

This will prove to be very, very tricky. Ill do the best I can but it may take until next month to do. We'll just have to see what can be achieved.

Also, this replaces Keen's normal behavior yes? he's a ball all the time? Or is he a ball only when swimming? (Which is harder to do.)

So how exactly would this work? (You probably don't want swimming but a whole new set of behaviors.) I assume the player can 'roll' Keen left and right, can the make him bounce as well?
