I don't think there really is a practical way to patch it, I think its more of a hitboxes and clipping thing. I ended up adjusting level design. They will push you over a sloped cliff every time as in this screenshot below, just not right angle cliffs.

$0AAF1517RL is the call to run Keen's death code. That must be whats wrong with the orignal patch.

I couldn't get that wiki patch to work either, but I did figured out another slightly different way you could achieve the same goal of robo red being stunable: #New robo red collision: stunnable (changes to new sprite), kills keen %patch $1264D $55 $8B $EC $56 $57 $8B $76 $06 $8B $7E $08 $83 $3D $02...

So in Keen 5 Koraths push Keen around but won't push him off a ledge. Well they kinda sorta can sometimes if you stand in the exact right spot, but they usually won't. Ah, the tri-color archway! I found that very memorable as a kid too. The other thing that stands out in my memory is the three blorbs bouncing outside the level. I tried it with ModId and it works no problem. Perhaps there is a bug with keengraph and Keen 5 seeing as Fleexy had the same issue. Anyway, I guess I'll use ModId for this project - thanks for that suggestion. What I mostly liked about keengraph is how the numbered file names of the extracted files...
