It's still the same old ModKeen (almost). There is no change, except that it works under those Windows systems that for some reason can't run the 16bit version anymore.
All I did was recompile it under MinGW with minimal changes, but there is no change in functionality.

This error seems too random for me to track it down, is there an original keen level that, when saved, changes the sprites? Many things can cause such problems.
