Hi. I don't want Keen to be able to stand on the Bounder because I want the Bounder to be a normal enemy.
Is it possible to create a patch for this?
I would really appreciate the help.

The Bounder does make a good enemy. In my mod, my Bounder kills Keen on contact, like how a Mad Mushroom would. The only way I know of making the Bounder into an enemy is by swapping collisions. You can make the Bounder dangerous but you'd have to change the collision of a second enemy. I'm bad at explaining this...
I switched the collision of the Mad Mushroom and the Bounder. The result is, Keen can stand on the Mad Mushroom, and the Bounder kills Keen on contact. The question is, would you like your enemy Bounder to be stunnable like a Slug, or unstunnable like a Mad Mushroom?

I want him to be stunnable like a Slug, and I already did that with this patch that I found on the forum:

#Bounder kills Keen, can be shot:

Wow. That's a big patch.
Ok, so Stunned Bounder can't be stood upon.
That's a tough one. Usually I have all my stunned enemies able to be stood upon so that Keen can still interact with them after they're stunned. I think I might be able to form a patch for you. Uhhh.... My laptop is off right now. Give me a few hours to see if I can come up with a patch. By the way, I check this forum everyday unless I forget. :)

Okay! So! After much delay, for which I am terribly sorry for, I figured out I don't know exactly how to go about making a Stunned Bounder un-stand-able on. However, I think I have a lead. Sprite Type. I altered the Stunned Bounder's "Type" and now Keen does not stand on it. But! This might have unwanted side-effects. So, copy and paste this code into your patch file and see if it works. If something bad happens, we're back to the drawing board

Yes, sprite type would be the problem. Changing other enemies tot he bounder type will also make them standable... on... thing.

Hi. I just encountered a problem.

When I use this patch:

%patch $11174 $00 $00 #Shot Bounder

I can't stand on the Bounder just like I wanted.
But if I also use the patch to make the bounder kill keen, the patch above doesn't work anymore.

Is there a way to make these two patches compactible?
