What does this error mean, and why does it mean I can't save my maps?

ted5 is the dumbest application I've ever seen. This error corrupts my Keen maps often, it's caused by internal memory inconsistencies in TED5.

I don't know. I just restore the data files from a backup directory and start again. This is TED5, you must make backups always.

If you go to "Edit New Map" you should see heaps of corrupted level names. Hopefully they're the default ones and not your custom ones.
Delete them.
Also, if one of your maps has been moved out of the right position, use switch maps to switch it back.

TED5 will often crash after each delete, but it will still delete them, and once they're all done it should work fine again.

I don't see why, it's a command line and terribly hard to use if you don't 'get' it. Besides, we have a solution, don't we.
