Oh, also, there needs to be rectangles or something around the selections for copy, paste, rectangle, etc.

Yes, I definitely plan to do this at some point. ;-)

The tileinfo-loading idea: that sounds nice, and I might implement it eventually.

Customizing the level stats screen: I've decided to put all of the "mod-specific" information into one text file, and include these files for the default Keen 1-3 tileset. These can then be copied into the folder containing the .bmp files and modified. I've gotten all of the data files written, as well as a low-level parser for them, but the program doesn't actually do anything with them yet.

Nope! I decided I liked this version enough to call it not beta.

So, when to expect version 1.1? Unfortunately, not real soon, but hopefully within a week.

Question: is it WINE (Linux) that doesn't display scrollbars in your editor, or are you doing the same only-the-wheel think you did in Ck456Tli? (Yes, the wheel works).

Well, it took 2 1/2 weeks instead of less than 1, but here's version 1.1!

Several nice new features - seeing where you're copying and pasting, and a revamped and heavily customizable level stats screen.

Enjoy!

All right, it's feature request time! Here's what I have lined up for version 1.2 so far:
  • pressing [ctrl+arrows] to scroll by a whole screen at a time
Um ... that's it for now. I'll edit this post as people make suggestions!

Well, despite the complete lack of responses, here's version 1.2. Download it, check out the features, let me know what you think, just POST SOMETHING - even if it's not even this topic. There's been like no K:M traffic lately. :'-(

Sorry, but I've not been around Keen 1-3 to test this little baby out. I appreciate all your hard work however.

Hmm ... well here's version 1.2.1 - pretty much just a bugfix release. There was a very embarrassing bug involving zooming out, and a some strange stuff with the new auto-image-file-finder which has hopefully been fixed. Have at it.

I agree that you have put in a lot of hard work and that thanks are due for the effort you have put into this project.

I also believe that at this stage this editor should be moved to the tools section due to its advanced developmental stage.

So, would you like it to have its own forum in the Tools section?

Agreed. Don't count me in, though. I've lost all my remaining Keenishness to do stuff.

Woohoo, two programs of mine with their own forums now! If it's all right with you guys, I think I'll take a little break now ;-) (Unless anyone finds any bugs, of course.)
