Anyway, cool utility. I'll have to try it out sometime. I haven't needed TileInfo yet since I've moved to Linux (I've needed Modkeen and Mindbelt, but both of those work perfectly under WINE).

I'm surprised I can't find this patch anywhere... it seems so simple.
For Keen 1, is there a way to have Keen start each level facing left, instead of facing right?

The empty tiles in the tileset can be edited, and you can change any of the other tiles. There's a program called Tileinfo that can be used to change each tiles' behavior, too, so you can make tiles that block, items, etc. Patches, as far as I understand, work by just overwriting certain bytes in me...
