1) No, but when you kill a vorticon, it will (after going through the death frames) turn into a live garg. So the order is vorticon-dying vorticon-garg

That would be nice, but unfortunately probably not possible.

I must agree though, the default grey and blue are kind of ugly. phpBB has a bunch of alternates on their website, but I don't have the bandwidth to look at them now.

As another question, what happens when you use the teleporter patch with the "item-to-tport" patch, what happens? Does it work like a regular (single-use) teleporter, or does it just lock up?

All of my teleporter troubles came from teleporting the player too close to the edge of the level. (If your level worked before, this probably isn't the problem, but I'd check anyway.)
