Yes, I see what you're saying. Does Mindbelt's dependence on ModKeen count as incompleteness by your definition? Not necessarily. If you distribute EModKeen with Mindbelt, there would be no incompleteness. Neither if you just merge EModKeen's code into your program, but we warned, I shall GNU GPL m...

And ShadowMaster - does this "end of creative output" you mentioned a while ago mean no EModKeen? (TRANSLATION: Would my editor have to directly manipulate the GAMEMAPS and MAPHEAD files, or could I just manipulate the decompressed MAPTEMP and MAPTHEAD relying on your program to do the co...

I as the KeenWiki admin suggest you to have an unique location for the always latest version you publish, i.e. some URL to which you upload Mindbelt updates, no matter what version it should be. So that I can put a download link in the KeenWiki that doesn't become obsolete when a new version comes o...

*The Evil Shadow Master feels the call of his victims* Oh, no blood? Shadowmaster has it, as well as some experience in modifying CKPatch, it's a great pity that these cannot be edited as Sarah spent several days building up a few hundred sprite patches that are very useful, but the only way I can g...

Agreed. Don't count me in, though. I've lost all my remaining Keenishness to do stuff.

Spleen, you could update your avatar here as you did in the PCKF. ;)
I should get back to work on my mod.

There are a few ways of doing this, so I get the feeling it might cause some side-effects like a memory leak, but I've no way to test it at this point. You know $90 is the NOP (no operation) instruction in x86 processors. Well, in theory it shouldn't cause memory leaks unless you're removing instru...

That because Andy hasn't published anything about it yet... I found it because he gave me a link to tedsetup source code which pointed there.

Re: Oooh.

Wow, nice work! I didn't know anyone managed to get the source code. When did that happen? By the way, I just saved you 20 seconds of next weekend: UPXed Binaries (108kb): ckpatch-0.9.0-ext-bin-upx.zip (Haha, they're actually marginally smaller when unzipped...) Thanks for that. :P What are you tal...

Sorry if it's bad idea to revive this thread but... I did this with Turbo Pascal 7 All you need is to put the NASM binaries (DOS 16bit) in PATH and run Turbo Pascal's make from CKPatch's source directory. NASM: An assembler required by CKPatch source code to compile. You can get NASM here: http://so...

CKPatch extended for other games: Released!

Thanks to Levellass for pressing me into doing this, Admiral Bob for CKPatch's source code, and the chocolate god for chocolate. Now, onto the thing: Binaries (116 KB): http://shadowm.rewound.net/src/ckpatch-0.9.0-ext-bin.zip Source code (Pascal - DOS, 55 KB): http://shadowm.rewound.net/src/ckpatch-...

Question: is it WINE (Linux) that doesn't display scrollbars in your editor, or are you doing the same only-the-wheel think you did in Ck456Tli? (Yes, the wheel works).

I always wondered what where those blank tiles used for. Glad somebody figured it out.

So, this mechanism is used only in the worldmap? How do the diagonal tiles in regular levels work?
