I like BD.

Looking at what's been done with mods recently, and apparently 'source code' of some kind, I'm guessing this is as easy said as done. The only question is who will make the levels for it. Levels suck.

*Slaps self*

It seems I'm a bit rusty here. I changed only one frame of the sequence. All you'll notice is a slight twitch in Keen when using this patch.

On second look the 'flick switch' 'go into door' and 'place gem' code seems to mix. Changing one is only possible by changing all three. Pity.

This is the patch, dug out of my old files for the animation Keen uses when placing a door gem: #Keen places door gem %patch $2FC8E $00C4W $00C4W %patch $2FC98 $0006W The second line is how long it takes him to place the gem. To make this use the first of Keen's walking frames we change it to: #Keen...

Your title screen and/or F1 for help are too large or do not compress enough.

Try cutting a black square out o the bottom right of your title screen, about 16x16, that usually works, then you can shrink it. (PM2 needed a 4x4 square cut out.)

When making a tileset, the first thing *I* do is make a 16x16 pattern, the 'tile fill' if you will. I experiment with different patterns, lines, spheres, blocks, then when I find one I like, I color and shade it the way I want, and use it as a template. The next thing I do is arrange it into a block...

Xtra, I can't seem to get a lot of your links in the downloads section to work either. (Dosclassics was designed for IE?)

This looks to be promising; Keen needs a rebuild. Asking for new graphics and/or level ideas is complicated by the fact that at present anyone who wants these can do so for the original Keen games by using modkeen and Ted5, so that unless gameplay itself is altered, all you will be doing is a 'simpl...

When making a world map, it must be of a minimum size and contain only one Keen (value 256) sprite to avoid problems. Teleporters can be a real terror to do (Though In find them easy enough and can link yours up if you want.) You have some odd errors though; it'd be interesting to see those files. Y...

I've given this levelpack a good look through. (And thank Xky for pointing out those tile bugs.) The levels have a slightly rushed feel, as if they were completed in a flurry of editing. Many of the levels also have a distinct reminder of the original levels in them, did you take existing levels and...
