Careful, if the player uses the door in the stage where it has the door tiles (D) but no links, they'll be taken to 0/0 and thereby exit the level. You probably want to make the door not be a door until the final stage, or give the penultimate stage links.

Thanks for the notes! It looks like there are already warnings for these things in the Level Inspector, though the threshold numbers are less extreme, so you get a warning slightly before it becomes a problem. Let me know if the warnings aren't firing when they should.

Make sure that your mymod.pat file is a valid patch file. Especially check that the first %command is indeed %ext. The Tile Property Modifier has a copy/paste mode. Press C to copy the current tile's properties to the clipboard, then click each tile you want to paste on. If you enable Assimilate Infoplane (press I), Abiathar adds the infoplane rows to the foreground tileset, allowing you to modify their properties. That link produces a 404 error for me.

I'm guessing that you accidentally set a tile that should be completely non-blocking (e.g. air) to be solid on one or more sides. You can check this with the Tile Properties view (press B). That would cause Keen and all sprites to glitch out of their tiles.

What specifically did you do with ModKeen before the problems started? My guess is that you modified the EGA resources by importing new graphics. I am under the impression that the first two bytes of the DEMOx.CKe file are the level number as a little-endian word, so I think changing the first byte to your level ID ought to do it.

Where it says "$02 $74", you can change the $02 to set the level that will cause Keen to move to the next one. For example, $05 is level 5 and $0A is level 10. The $74 is a jump condition.

There is an interesting patch that accomplishes that for Keen 5. (I'm not sure which episode you're interested in, but that at least shows it's possible.)
